This is week three of my focus to get to a healthy weight.  So far 13 pounds are gone, feeling great today.

Started back on P90X2- stopped for a while cause of the reduced calories.  It was recovery day so, stretching and foam rolling.

WHAT HAVE YOU LOST COMPARISON: 
1 pound = a Guinea Pig 
1.5 pounds = a dozen Krispy Kreme glazed donuts 
2 pounds = a rack of baby back ribs 
3 pounds = an average human brain 
4 pounds = an ostrich egg 
5 pounds = a Chihuahua 
6 pounds = a humanĂ¢€™s skin 
7.5 pounds = an average newborn 
8 pounds = a human head 
10 pounds= chemical additives an American consumes each year 
11 pounds = an average housecat 
12 pounds = a Bald Eagle

What a great day to go outside.  Cool breezes and sun, sun, sun.  Went for a road ride this morning with Mike and Tracy in Coronado.  Legs were barking because of the George St. Pierre workout yesterday. Why do you always feel it the next day?

Day 2 of low calorie regimen,  it's not as bad as I thought. So here is the plan.


  • Set goals (1, 2, and 3 year goals)
  • Eat every three hours (I found a prescription app for the phone to help with reminders)
  • Eat veggies and lean protein (chicken and fish)
  • Drink water all day long
  • Get 8 hours of sleep a night
My goal for the week is to eat six meals a day, my reward is to buy a cable for the electric guitar.

When I reach the goal weight the reward is a board for SUP.
